We were able to take a vote
1) F2F 5 days a week (what we voted for ironically)
2) Half in school, half virtual
3) Virtual Full time
We had to let the district know by July 12.
However b/c cases are spiking where i live (its true), Broward County public schools said that they are going 100% virtual. We bought laptops and desks for my kids (i pay a pretty penny in property taxes so my kids can go to good schools and it dont mean dick).
My older son is PISSED he cant go back. I'm not sure if my younger one cares or not.
We were told that hopefully by October 1, we could do some kind of hybrid method of half school half virtual.
Also got an email from my kids' soccer league last nite on plans they are following for soccer season.
No benches
No bleachers
During breaks, kids will go directly to parents
Bring our own postgame snack and drink
Concession stands will be closed
No high 5 or anything like that.
Some other rules as well but it SUCKS but its better than nothing

what happens if we learn we no longer need them?
considering modern day results and the modern day curriculum, I think I can do a better job with just a couple of hours per week
They won't grow up thinking our Founding Fathers were evil and President Lincoln was racist and the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor (they probably don't even know what or where Pearl Harbor is)
They won't be racist, and they won't be woke, and they'll consider network news to be nothing more than a cartoon
They'll all work too, they'll expect nothing from government except freedom
